Digital DR X RAYS
Here at Kilcock veterinary hospital our digital x-ray will provide a non-invasive method to aid with diagnosing your pet.
This is environmentally friendly as it involves no chemicals, and it decreases the radiation exposure that your pet will go through.
In addition to this the images (radiographs) will be displayed instantly on our computer allowing for a swift diagnosis.
Digital radiography is used in veterinary practice to check for any joint or bone conditions and is also used to screen for abnormalities and cancer in the organs.
Some advantages of digital radiography include;
High efficiency in capturing x-rays which means time saved and therefore results in more time treating patients.
Less radiation used to produce the image.
Unlike x -ray film digital radiography will use a digital image to capture the device, allowing an immediate image preview which will be readily available to ensure it is of diagnostic quality.
