Ultrasound is an excellent non-painful, non-invasive diagnostic tool for assessing the internal structure and tissue type of many of the body’s organs. 

In Kilcock veterinary hospital we have the highest standard ultrasound scanner and our vets are well trained and experienced in ultrasound scanning. 

That allows us to diagnose a big amount of conditions very accurately and without the need of practising invasive tests. 

We can check the structure and function of inner organs, as well ruling out tumours and taking samples ultrasound-guided if needed.

We can also check the heart function, and rule out some of the most important thoracic conditions.
